Speeding down the line in the early morning light.

Day Six
Friday September 15th 2006

Woke up this morning for my last surf session before school and our fifteen hour car drive to Cape Hatteras late this afternoon. The waves were 3 - 4 foot and glass, I got a nice backside tube and many maneuvers before riding the last ride to the beach and going to school. Dad took us to O'Club near Patrick Airforce Base to finish my week in the water at home, the waves were awesome!

I'm excited about traveling with my friends and team mates this afternoon. We'll be sending more photographs as we head on out this afternoon.

After school we all met w/ Kevin, (Cape Surf Manager), and left. We are now as Im writing in the car on our 13 hr trip to NC.
Kevin's coffee is kicking and he's screeming for a jalapeno on a stick (don't ask).

It wasn't that interesting of a day only the surf session in the morning. I'm so excited about our trip and can't wait to ride the ferry in the morning.

For the first time I also heard Peter Frampton talk with his guitar in a traffic jam (Do You Feel Like We Do) because his song was like fifteen minutes. That was really cool because my dad constantly quizes me on Rock-n-Roll trivia everyday in the car when we listen to classic rock on 98.5 FM out of Orlando. Dad insist that it's part of my education and you just can't be well rounded without knowing your Led Zepplin from ZZ Top. My teachers at the christian school would flip!

I hope you enjoy the photos of this morning my dad took. I like the one with the pelican flying in the background. The first thing we have to look for tonight is a place to get internet connection and upload more photos.
