Sharing a wave at the pier, I was kinda scared of this guys surfboard.

My coach Josh and Sean Volland (not pictured) were tearing-it-up at the pier with me. It was really fun having waves like this at the pier!

Day Four
Wednesday September 13th 2006

After surfing several days in a row, I was so pooped out and ended up sleeping in this morning. It felt great though, you don't really realize how tired you can get until you hit that comforter at night.

After school we went out for a session at 2ndlight in 10-12 foot choppy faces! It was horrible, I never got out there but i did do better than most guys (only four guys made it out). I was almost out when other surfers were fighting the shorebreak.

We ended up going to the Cocoa Beach pier to get smaller size and better form. I had an awesome time surfing there with only one big downer, that there were sooooo... many kooks in the water and you had to weave around them. Some people just don't have any common sense! Well, one good thing about people in the water is you get real good at weaving around them, the more maneuvers you get and the better you surf. Sometimes it's just how you look at it...
