Day Eleven
Wednesday September 20th 2006

I woke up and tried to remember where I was. It finally hit me, that I was still staying in a three-story house loaded with a pool, jacuzzi, and pool table, I immediately jerked out of bed ready to hit the waves. My mom had finally arrived that morning and on top of all the excitement my heat for the competition was the very next day! I was literally jumping off the walls!

We drove around looking for the best waves with the best quality and ended up settling down at the Frisco Pier, right down the street from the house we were renting. I had such a fun session. My mom got some decent pictures of me in the barrel of the wave. After resting a tiny bit, I went out for another session later in the evening. The waves weren't as barreling as this morning and it made it much easier to get a few snaps here and there. After a full day of surfing and all freshened up, I ate a good hearty dinner for the surfing I'd be doing the next day. It was almost impossible to get to sleep that night. So many things were going through my mind. Eventually, I got tired and drifted off to sleep.
