Puerto Rico Surfing

There was a swell during February 2007 that dad was watching and it passed us by and went straight to the caribbean towards Puerto Rico. My parents quickly arranged a surfing trip and Mom took off with me and Josh Wilson to the "Land of Rights" for a few days of hard core surfing and warm water.

The wave above was pretty typical of that trip and there were plenty larger ones too. Dad put together a quick video and posted it to share here. Puerto Rican Surf Video.

Puerto Rico is a United States territory and has long been a favorite place for surfers because of it's wintertime waves. It's like having a little piece of Hawaii in our own backyard. There are literally dozens of breaks on this little Island and the water is warm all year long and the Puerto Rican people are friendly and treat you well (except for the boogie boarders).
