The Cocoa Beach Pier is a great soft break that is fun for almost anyone to surf at any skill level. Savannah loves to surf here with her friends before school and during the early mornings in the winter.

Cocoa Beach Pier

One of the most fun places to surf on the east coast of Florida is the Cocoa Beach Pier. The pier holds the sand around it and makes a natural sandbar break on both the north and south side depending on which way the swell direction is.

I surf the pier almost every morning before school and often during the summer when it's breaking right. My good surfing friend Tyler Thornsley charges the surf with me for a pre-school session when it's good.
