Cape Hatteras Surfing
My father always told me that Cape Hatteras
was a really fun road trip for him when he was growing up.
I'm not sure if the trip was fun but the waves were as good
as I've surfed on the east coast and maybe as good as many
of the exotic places I've been so far.
Cape Hatteras holds the Eastern Surfing Association's
Championship there every year in September. While I did
not do as well as I'd hoped this year, I look forward to
going again every year until my ESA career is over.
