Florida East Coast Girl

I am Savannah, an honor student at Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School, I love track and field and have earned several awards for excellence in piano and chorus along with being a competition surfer in East Central Florida.

This is my website where I hang out from time to time and tell everyone from family to friends about what I've been up to.

This was my fifth year to travel to Mexico with my dad and friend, Pete. Check out my summer of 2009 Mexico Trip pages when you get a chance.

Finally made it through the first quarter of my first year at public school! Brought home straight A's and ready for round two. I still miss all my friends at MICS, I send you my love!, but I am making new friends at Cocoa Beach High as well. I am looking forward to running track this semester and competing in my upcoming surfing championships this spring along with taking the SAT and ACT preparing me for college.

Surfing / Skateboarding

These are a few of the activities that I am involved with. Surfing and Skate Board are my primary activities but I love to camp, go the movies, run, do yoga and spend time with my little sister Mekenzie at home and on the beach.

ESA
The Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) is dedicated to the sport of amateur surfing, to the operation of a program of amateur competition for surfers of all ages and abilities, and to the establishment and preservation of free access to a clean shoreline and ocean environment.

Family / Friends

My family is a total waterbug family from my dad who is a Florida fishing guide to my little sister who begs to go surfing and loves to skateboard. My mother Gina is the ultimate surf momma, making healthy high energy food and surf assessments before sun up, checking all the surf reports from surfline, surf guru and 2ndlight.com cameras and swell models.

Friends are so important to me, not only in the surf and on the beach but spending time getting my nails and makeup done or going to a fun movie.

School / Community

Like surfing I take my schoolwork seriously at Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School. I am an honors student with a 4.0 average with both academic and extracurricular activities.  I'm involved with the FireHouse Student Ministries along with many friends where we receive positive spiritual teachings from Mr. Jones and other associate ministers.

Our family is members of First Baptist Church Merritt Island where Captain Richard is a deacon.

Junior year has officially started. I can't believe I have come this far! This is my second year to take college coarse's being Dual Enrolled at BCC! I am hoping to get some college coarse's out of the way while still in high school.
